Blah blah blah --- no one will read this for many days because no one is around

So... In a time-span of just 2 or 3 days I have been asked to be part of a professional brass band and be an add-in for the Cookeville Community Band. Apparantly I am experiencing a resurgence in my horn-playing that I didn't know about. I probably will not try to do UT Symphony this year --- really need to devote that 6 hours/week to trying to leave UT!!! :) Though I will miss the regular playing opportunity.

I've been checking out others' blogs as usual, but it is very boring considering bandcamps are going on, Paige is away in Sitka on her honeymoon (jealousy), and such. I don't know what Featherston is up to, but we will be in Cookeville all day on Monday with nothing to do.

Danny found out his schedule and who his new assistant director will be today. He is pleased.

I must soon begin on my perilous journey of studying MCAT and OAT prep books to get ready to take the OAT again. MCAT-prep should provide an excellent source of study material, since it is almost the same test (sans the written essay portion) taken in a shorter time period. I have also discovered that the test will no longer be available in the paper formant (computerized only) after the next test is offered in October. I can take my test anytime before January 5, 2006. Should take within then next month or so to try and get results back to SCO sooner. Also need to start making a list of optometrists I would like to observe. Thinking about trying to get a few days with a lot of different practices in many different settings. And perhaps a lot of different recommendations (preferably good recommendations) from the optometrists with whom I enjoy working.

Interesting day in the world of Scotland Yard, eh?

Hey I'm back from camp and I read it :) Hate I missed you at paige's wedding. Bandcamp was a sucky place to be when all your friends are off having fun getting married.
