Empty Pockets

Classes are officially over, tests and all. Still need to complete my final paperwork for SCO to turn my tentative acceptance into official acceptance. This requires me to get a TB skin test, have my immunizations up-to-date (easy thanks to Uncle Sam), and verify that my vision is acceptable. So I have to schedule some appointments with various doctors to take care of these minor details. They have already receieved my $500 advance payment, so the paperwork is all that remains. With that $500 plus the $772 I had to pay to UT for my 2 Spring classes, my bank account is dwindling... Time for a PT job.

You should be glad you have the feds to supply records, because UT sure won't do it. When I started at Memphis, they wouldn't pay me till I could prove I'd had my shots. I was like, "I just graduated from UT, which requires the same shots. Does that not work?" And they said UT won't send immunization records to them. Well, I call UT, and they won't send them to me either. They want me to come to Knoxville (from Memphis)and pick them up in person. Right. I just got my shots again. I'm double immunized! MMR (whatever that is) beware!

Actually, Uncle Sam didn't actually provide so much. We (the band) keep our paper shot records in our building, so I basically took it and copied it for my records.

Oh, MMR = Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.

I've had to have 3 TB tests. I guess we have one every year... who knows. But its cool. Your arm bubbles up and it looks like there is some gross growth on it for a day or so. its cool :) have fun with that :)
