My interview on Friday went well. I was informed that there are only 5 regional positions for TN, but encouraged to kick my optometrist's bottom into gear and get in my recommendation letter (by fax and then by mail) so that they could have something to review at their next meeting (remember that they have rolling admissions).
Robin Graves, Director of Records and Admissions, told me they would try to meet before Thanksgiving. Perhaps I will hear something by then. I'll keep you posted.
The other interviewees were mostly 2 timers, too. This time they weren't very friendly (the other prospective students). My first time, I enjoyed being around everyone. These people were snobs.
The staff and such at SCO are ALWAYS super-friendly... like an extended family. I had a different interviewer this time... and I think things went much better. The questions asked in the interview were basically the same as my first interview, but presented in a different way --- much more approachable to the interviewee (me).
Anyway, I'll keep you updated as I hear (good or bad).

Hey, I actually had a thought about your career just now. (I know, scary.) Can you email me or call me? Not sure if you'd be interested, but I know of an eye-related career path that's in some demand that you may not have considered. (I know it's in demand because the guy who does it in Lexington is like 75 and can't retire because nobody can take his place.)
